About Youth Finance Brighton

We're Youth Finance Brighton, a local place right here in Brighton making sense of money for young people across the UK. We believe everyone, no matter their age, deserves to feel clued up and confident about their finances.

Back when we started Youth Finance Brighton, we spotted a big gap. Schools teach a lot, and that's great, but often, the really practical money skills don't get much time. Young people are heading out into the world without knowing how a payslip actually works, what a pension is, or even the best way to save for something big like a first car or a place of their own. Complex financial ideas often get explained in confusing ways, full of jargon. That's where we come in. We strip away all the fancy words and break down complicated money stuff into simple, easy-to-understand lessons. Our whole aim is to give teenagers and young adults the real-world skills they need to manage their money well, avoid common pitfalls, and build a solid financial future. We're passionate about giving young people in Brighton and beyond the head start they deserve. It's about empowering them to make smart choices, not just follow rules.
